Introduction

Established in 1995, the American College of Higher Education has grown to be one of the finest educational institutions in Sri Lanka offering American degrees. The American College has over 1000 students who are following a US-style program of studies, and we have based our courses, course outlines, curriculum, etc. on those of Broward College in Florida with whom we have an academic affiliation. The American College offers certificates, diplomas, AA & AS degrees as well as four Bachelor's degrees. Many of our students are enrolled in the US University Transfer Program (UTP), where they complete a minimum of 24-30 credits and then transfer to one of 50 colleges and universities in the US that we work with and who will accept our students' credits. The American College has transferred over 750 students to the USA and many have transferred to Truman State University (Missouri), Wichita State University (Kansas), Lowa State University (Iowa), Florida Atlantic University (Florida) and Winona State University (Minnesota).

The American College of Higher Education (ACHE) is strategically located in Dehiwala, just outside the Colombo city limits, ensuring that it is easily accessible and conducive for learning.

The ACHE has five branch campuses in order to service areas outside of the Colombo with an American style education. A branch campus is located in the hill capital of Kandy, where the combination of scenic beauty and cooler climate offers students the best possible learning environment.
